Beschreibung : Ancient Egypt, New Kingdom, 19th to 20th Dynasty, ca. 1292 to 1070 BCE, Late Dynastic Period, 26th to 31st Dynasty, ca. 664 to 332 BCE. A nice set of 4 mold-formed faience amulets from ancient Egypt. From the New Kingdom is a faience scarab with insectile topside features as well as a royal uraeus cobra presiding over the god Set. The Late Dynastic Period artifacts include a striding upper body of the lioness-headed goddess Sekhmet, covered in blue-green glaze, a petite wadjet (also wedjat or Eye of Horus) features a large eye beneath a perforated suspension loop, and a slender djed pillar with a flared base and four tiered projections along the top.
