Printed for special events in the camp. Includes the program for the Chanuka ball that took place on [13.12.1947] in the 'Jewish Detention Camp in the Diaspora', in Gilgil, Kenya. Illustration of a harp on the title page. The program includes choir songs including the 'Gilgil Horah' and dances. The program includes the name of the actors, and much more. 20x16 cm. 7, [1] page. Tear at the top of the pages with loss of text. Perhaps the only surviving copy. 3. Periodical. Camp News. Published by the imprisoned members of the underground movements. Beau Bassin, Mauritius 28.9.1941. Title page. Special announcement followed by a listing of the radio programs for the next two days. Typewritten, German. 16x22 cm. [1] page. One-side-only of the leaf. Tears in the right section. Exceptionally rare. 4. B'Galus Kenya. Monday, 28.6.1948. Typewritten page for the members of the Etzel and Lechi underground movements that were detained in Kenya, Africa. Information about the famine in Jerusalem, Yitzchak Gruenbaum words about the political future of Jerusalem, and the Arab siege of the Jerusalem mountains.[These leaves are all from the archive of a detainee in Mauritius.
