Le Collège De La Sagesse
Provenienza : Acquired directly from the artist in 2011.
The artist has given this work the title 'The College of Wisdom'. The current owner's uncle was an Administrateur de Territoire au Congo in the 1940s and fostered his nephew's interest in the country and its artists.
Condition_report : In excellent condition. There are no signs of paint loss and the areas of glitter are intact and secure.
There are a few hairline cracks along the upper edge of the painting where the canvas has been stretched across the wooden support bar. These do not compromise the integrity of the work or detract from the overall appearance.
Please note: this painting has not been examined out of the frame.
