Note : This work was first exhibited as part of ‘Salon Afrique: A Homecoming Reimagined’ curated by Beathur Mgoza Baker and Sara Bint Moneer Khan in mid-2022 at the District Six Museum Homecoming Centre in Cape Town. The exhibition explored the harmonious coexistence and diversity in the visual arts across Africa while celebrating cultural inclusivity on the continent and raising awareness for the museum.
A portion of the proceeds of the sale of this work will go towards the District Six Museum Homecoming Centre to raise funds for its public and social programmes.
