Joburg Man was selected as one of thirty-five artworks featured in the Cell C Art in the City Project and was reproduced to billboard size for display on the side of a building in downtown Johannesburg on the cnr of Main and Simmonds streets. This artwork was generously donated by the artist or their representative, to financially support the production of the book Strange Cargo: Essays on Art by cultural theorist Ashraf Jamal, to be published by Skira. Some of the proceeds from the sale are outright donations and some will be shared with the artist, and will also support the production of an accompanying podcast.
Condition_report : The overall condition is good. Paint is stable with surface dirt and scuff marks in areas.
