Descrizione : serial #R025497, 9.3x62, 20 barrel with bright excellent bore. The metal surfaces exhibit a proprietary smooth matte blue finish having some very faint handling marks around the right side of the receiver. The nicely figured Monte Carlo pistolgrip stock with integral right hand cheekpiece is an upgrade and rates very good to excellent showing a few scattered scratches and small dings over a smooth matte oil finish. Checkering on both stock and forend is finely cut and remains crisp. The right hand palm-swell grip has an ebony gripcap with Sauer logo installed and there is a Decelerator rubber recoil pad fitted providing a length of 15. In addition, proprietary sling swivel bushings are inlaid into the toeline of the stock and into the schnabel tip. The rifle is equipped with a HiViz front ramp mounted blade sight, a single standing leaf rear sight mounted on a barrel band, and there is a Swarovski Habicht 1.5 x 6X scope mounted in Sauer quick detachable rings on integral bases. The gun has a jeweled bolt and a decocker safety which allows the gun to remain uncocked until ready to fire. Two round and five round magazines are included, the five round is an additional upgrade. The gun comes with a maker's velvet lined hard case containing stock wrench, barrel removal wrench and owner's manual. This rifle is the epitome of technology combined with classic features, chambered in arguably, the most versatile of the African thin-skinned game cartridges making it imminently practical as well as attractive.
