Descrizione : Art Pottery Vase w/ Egyptian Pharoah Greek Palms Motif. This vase, signed BEARD and numbered on underside, is painted witih two torsos of what appear to be an Egyptian pharoah and a Hellenic figure, perhaps representing the close historical connection between African and Greek cultures. The figures are seprated by decorative palm fronds, and the whole is overlaid with dripping paint which seems to spill down from the vase's overflowing rim. Dimensions are 9.5 in h x 5.75 in w x 5.75 in d. Condition is good, with a 1/4-inch chip visible along rim. Please call or email for a detailed condition report.
