Descrizione : Ancient Egypt, New Kingdom Period, 18th to 20th Dynasty, ca. 1549 to 1069 BCE. A mold-formed pottery female concubine figure standing with fused legs atop an integral circular plinth. She presents nude with a rounded abdomen and perky breasts, with arms held tightly to her sides, and rounded shoulders tapering to a thick neck. Her serene countenance is defined by impressed eyes beneath thin brows, a bulbous nose above full lips, and cupped ears, all beneath a centrally-parted coiffure of wavy hair with a bun on the back. Custom lucite display stand included. Size: 2.625 W x 9.2 H (6.7 cm x 23.4 cm), 9.7 H (24.6 cm) on included custom stand. Condition report : Repaired from multiple large pieces with light restoration, resurfacing, and overpainting along break lines. Small nicks and abrasions to legs, body, and head, with light softening to some finer details, and light encrustations within some recessed areas. Light earthen deposits throughout.
