Descrizione : The carved wood Dan scoop from Ivory Coast with figural male head carving having metal teeth and black patina. Provenance: Morton and Estelle Sosland. The Soslands began acquiring examples of African and other tribal art in the 1960s, possibly earlier. Over the last two decades, objects of African Art with provenance to Morton and Estelle Sosland have been sold for up to six figures at major auctions in New York and California. Measures 18.5 x 8 x 7 inches. We happily provide seamless in-house packing and shipping services on nearly everything we sell. Until further notice, we cannot offer international shipping in-house.

The content of this auction bears testament to their keen eye and varied interests. No property has been added, each lot here originates with the Sosland family and sells without reserve.
