Titre de la vente : US $ 500-700 Once a mural artist, now an established painter and photographer, Hafiez began his career as a student at the University of Khartoum - Faculty of Art. Since 1979, he has exhibited in various countries across East Africa and the Middle East including Egypt and Syria. His photographs portraying the people of Darfur can be found in the book ‘Darfur and the Crisis of Goverce in Sudan: A Critical Reader', which was published by Africa World in 2008. Depicting two bulls, this painting is a contemporary take of the traditional Sudanese technique of calligraphy and pen and ink on paper.
