Notes : This work is from the artist's first 'cat' period, which dated from 1989 to 2005.
Condition_report : Good. Recently cleaned by professional conservator. Actions during treatment: The sculpture is in good condition overall. It was dusted to remove loose particles. Bird droppings and stains were removed from the surface. Leaves, flowers and composted organic material were removed from the crevices. Recommendation: In-studio time to tend to the restoration of the patina and wax layer. The sculpture is intact and structurally sound, but the patina and wax layer is very wheathered. Such an intervention will both restore the surface and detect and decrease any unwanted corrosive actions. Sunet Ferreira, Sculpture Conservator
