Aux Sources D'Une Révolution: L'Afrique ,2017.0
Notes : Chéri Chérin was born in Kinshasa. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kinshasa while painting advertising posters, like most painters in the Congo, in his residential area of Ndjili. He was the teacher of the successful painter JP MIKA. He created several murals on the walls of bars, hairdressers and small shops which are all testimonies of everyday life. His colourful canvases speak of the Congo and social issues such as the end of apartheid in South Africa, international conflicts and even current issues around the environment. In 2015, his most emblematic pieces were presented at the Beauty Congo-Congo Kitoko exhibition at the Cartier Foundation, in Paris.
