The surfaces are painted with a layer of white pigment before being further adorned in black across the tripartite wig, face, and basket held aloft by the shoulders on the verso. A column of hieroglyphs on the front of the legs reads, To illuminate the Osiris, Djedu-Maat-Iset-Ankh, beatified.
