Dit was Three Women from Berlin (my gunsteling) en die stillewe Red Table." "He was still unknown to most of our customers at the time and two of his three paintings at our December 1998 exhibition were not sold. I was only too eager to buy them myself. It was Three Women from Berlin (my favourite) and the still life Red Table." - Dr Matthys J Strydom, 2021
