Two lovely miniature amulets from ancient Egypt, one a scarab and the other a scaraboid. First is a scarab made of sapphire-blue paste with finely-detailed beetle-form features on the topside. The bottom displays a seated depiction of Horus, which also doubles as the symbol of the Pharaoh Amenhotep III (also known as Amenophis III, Amunhotep II, or Nebma'atre).
