Descrizione : Hepburn (Katharine) Hepburn (Katharine) Typed letter signed ('Katharine Hepburn') on personalised stationery, addressed to the vendor and reading I am sorry but I am so busy that I have no time at all. Betty Bacall Bogart was there during the whole thing and would be a far better choice than I. Elliot Ellisophan (the photographer) was there too, one page, two punch holes, light folding marks and creasing, 4to, 19 August 1971. PROVENANCE: The vendor was making a film about Humphrey Bogart for the BBC about thirty years ago. Lauren (Betty) Bacall appeared in it. The vendor also wanted to ask Katharine Hepburn, who starred in The African Queen (1951) alongside Humphrey Bogart, to let him interview her but she politely declined.
