Mo Edoga (1952-2014)
Mo Edoga was a doctor who practiced in South Africa as a neurosurgeon and has since 1982 a studio on the Friesenheimer island. His art works were initially made of plywood, which he collected in 1988, after the flood of the Rhine Neckar. So his work (Huldigung an) Vater Rhein und Mutter Neckar was created, which was not only made of plywood but also of other finds, such as plastic and other. Edoga used always in his works fabric tapes for fixing. (lvp)
