Description : Egypt, Late Dynastic Period, 26th to 31st Dynasty, ca. 664 to 332 BCE. A beautiful and wearable necklace comprised of hundreds of stone and faience seed beads in a palette of crimson, turquoise, sage, tan, citrine, amethyst, espresso, cream, and jet hues. Two singular strands of slightly larger beads comprise the upper terminals near the modern loop and lobster clasp, and a pair of fluted oxidized-silver cups separates the ten strands of beads hanging below. Strung in modern times. Size: 19 L (48.3 cm), size of largest bead: 1 W (2.5 cm).
