Description : AFRICAN TRIBAL ART, KONGO MASK - Democratic Republic of the Congo. Carved wood mask exhibiting strong facial characteristics, divided into two-tones, white and brown. The top is a sculpted headdress which extends below the chin. As there are no eye openings, the mask is to be worn on the top of the skull with raffia to hide the dancer. Good condition. First half 20th century. 12.5H x 7.25H
