Procedencia : Provenance The collection of Ulli Beier (1922-2011); A private collection. Exhibited London, Camden Arts Centre, 'Contemporary African Art', 1969. Washington, Museum of African Art, 'Contemporary African Art' 1974. The initials EWS on the reverse of the mount refer to Ella Winter Stewart who was the driving force behind the ground-breaking 1969 Camden Arts Centre exhibition and also loaned works to the the 1974 Museum of African Art exhibition. There were three 'Untitled' watercolours by Salahi in the 1974 exhibition, nos 76, 77 & 78.
