Descripción : TWO WEST AFRICAN GURO WOOD CARVED MASKS from the Ivory coast. Adept at combining human and animal forms, the Guro were originally called the Kweni tribe, re-named by the dominant Baule people. Each mask having carved human figures at crest, one surrounded by a serpent, the faces vividly colored in orange-red, with carved hair & stylized horns. Each about 9 in. by 22 in.
