Kongo Wood, Shiny Brown Patina, Black Paint, Of Oval Form With A Bulging Forehead And Slightly Raised Middle Ridge, Sickle-Shaped Pierced Eyes Below Curved Brows, Flanking A Straight Nose With Broad Alae, A Slightly Opened Mouth With Visible Teeth Underneath, Scarification Marks In The Area Of The Cheeks And The Mouth, Min. Dam., Slight Signs Of Abrasion, On Base, Zande Masks Are Rare. They Were Used By The Mani Society As Well As In Funeral Ceremonies.
