Descripción : Ancient Egypt, New Kingdom to Late Dynastic Period, 18th to 31st Dynasty, ca. 1550 to 332 BCE. A gorgeous necklace of wearable form strung with dozens of petite beads made from faience and stone. Interspersed through the composition are 14 ancient beads made from 84.5% to 85.4% gold (equivalent to 20K+) in spherical, cylindrical, or carinated forms that imbue the accessory with a pop of lustrous color. A pendant known as a wadjet (also wedjat or Eye of Horus) is displayed in the center and bears an applied black glass pupil on one side.
