Descripción : This is a wooden ADOUMA mask, the piece is hand carved, and originates from Gabon of Central Africa. The piece is colored in white pigments, possibly through the use of kaolinite, and has a flat, elongated nose, and small eyes as well as a small mouth. The large mask measures approx 12 inches H and 8 inches W. The masks show signs of wear due to the pieces age and use.
