Descripción : Carved Wood Chokwe Face Mask with Braided Hair, African Art. Made by the Chokwe people of Angola, impressive mask is finely carved of dark wood and finely detailed. Hair, which is some sort of black fiber, is braided and attached to burlap, which sits on a frame of wood. Handsome and striking, with great patina. Dimensions are 12 in h x 9 in w x 10.5 in d. Condition is good with overall surface wear and a 5 in crack on the right side of the forehead. Please call or email for a detailed condition report.
