Elongated, narrow oval form with long wedge nose, slit eyes and mouth, high domed forehead. Masks were worn by spiritual leaders during rituals to drive away evil spirits, and in secret societies for initiation of new members. Unmarked. Condition as seen, minor scuffs. 20th century 14L x 6W
