Descripción : A rare Egyptian Middle Kingdom pottery Hippopotamus, c. 2061 - 1784 BC, standing on an integral, rectangular, sledge-like base, with long snout, small ears, and small tail, L: 4 1/3 in (11cm.), H. 3 in (7.6cm).
