A pair of dark wooden masks in the Okoroshi Ojo style carved to wear on top of the forehead rather than covering the wearer's face - rest of the head and body is covered by a costume hide the identity of the wearer. Complimentary feminine Okoroshi Oma masks are white-faced and the black painted Okoroshi Ojo, like this pair, are meant to represent the malevolent male water spirits - evil and dark clouds that form during the rainy season, they also represent men, chaos, and mysterious natural occurrences. Size: 7.5 L x 6.5 W x 9.5 H (19 cm x 16.5 cm x 24.1 cm), 12.75 H (32.4 cm) on included custom stand.
