Among the titles in this lot are six installments of Geschichte der griechischen Kunst, The Amasis Painter, by Semni Karouzo (Oxford at the Clarendon, 1956), and The Inner Nature of Greek Art, which is signed on the title page by the translator. It should be noted that a number of these are large-format volumes. This collection of books is from the holdings of Archaeologia Books and Prints. Established in 1983, Archaeologia was known for providing scholarly books of quality on the archaeology of Ancient Egypt, the Near East, Greece & Rome, and the Pre-Columbian Americas.
