On circular base. Tanganyika District, East Africa, H. 20 inches. Brought home about forty years ago by the brother of the donor who was stationed at Ujiji, Kawimbi, and Kambole, where the specimens were probably obtained. Given by Mr. Victor Wright.'Tabwa figures from the Ujiji region are rare. Rarer still are maternity figures from this region.
