Descripción : A lovely necklace comprised of Egyptian coral beads, New Kingdom, c. 1570 - 1075 BC, an exquisite example comprised of multiple strands of very rare carved orange coral beads. Re-strung on modern cord with gold-plated lotus-shaped accents and findings clasp with one strand splitting into 4 strands across the front, the beads with a wonderful reddish-orange color. L: 19 in (48.1 cm). Ex Simonian family collection, Switzerland, acquired in the 1960's, Ex Nomis Antiquities.
