Descripción : Mossi Figure Burkina Faso The bended knees add to the dynamic appearance of the statue. A striking feature are the bands on the head with a thin central crest. There is a string around the neck so it could be hung up in the house of the chief’s eldest wife. A female figure with especially realistic facial features. Nice patina and evident signs of use.
