The head is the portrait of a king or chief, who is pictured with his neck and head jewelry. The protruding feather on the left temple side is a sign of chieftainship. These heads were used for worship of deceased kings and chiefs and were placed on ancestral altars. Commemorative heads of bronze, for example, were only kings reserved. The memorial head is in good condition with minimal signs of age and wear. Traces of weather damage on the head and a crack in the interior can be identified.
