Fantasy creature
Note : Henry Munyaradzi was born in a rural area of Northern Zimbabwe, the son of a spirit medium. In 1967 he joined the Sculptor's Community in Tengenenge and by 1968 had exhibited at the National Gallery of Zimbabwe. Over the course of his career, Munyaradzi exhibited in solo and group exhibitions throughout the world, and his sculptures entered museums and private collections. His works are noted for their simplicity and purity of form, blending primitivism with modernist sophistication.
