A memorial head made of baked terracotta, modelled in a characteristically phallic form with a pronounced vertical nose, applied scarification marks to either side, recessed circular eyes, pursed full lips, a soft jaw line, disk-shaped ears, a raised section of the coiffure as well as the neck embellished with texture from pressing a burlap cloth against the clay body from the Bura-Asinda-Sikka culture along the lower Niger River valley in Niger and Burkina Faso.
