The artist wrote the following poem to accompany the artwork: The moon wakes up in joy, And the sun goes home to roost. Children glow with excitement As the grin of adults fill the air It is time again to tell a story Even a time to laugh and dance Stories that become our history Dance and laugh that beget a bride How time flies when the moon stares on And children wake up into adulthood.
