There is light rubbing/scuffing at the corners and along the hinges, heaviest at the top/bottom of the spine. The binding is solid. There is light soiling to the top edge of the text block. The pages are clean with mild age toning. This work is profusely illustrated with 187 textual figures and 81 plates, including the elaborate fold-out frontisplan.
