Barbara Kruger (American, b. 1945)

With a background in graphic design, Barbara Kruger is known for her feminist critiques in the form of black and white images including figures or faces coupled with confrontational interrogatives. Her feminist Post Modern concepts are akin to those of Jenny Holzer and others and have commanded attention in exhibitions at the MoMA, MOCA, and Hirshhorn Museum. Her practice includes a variety of media including prints, film, and consumer-related materials. Kruger attended Syracuse University and Parsons School of Design.

Condition

One very minor scuff to the background on the far left edge. In overall very good condition.
