Description : **Originally Listed At $300** West Africa, Cameroon, Kirdi peoples, ca. early to mid 20th century CE. A fine pair of cast-brass arm bands known as “ghwazha” of tapering conical forms. Each band has a lengthy vertical gap between the terminals lined with a narrow register of chevron motifs and tight coils in the corners. Several dozen additional coils line the interior of the terminals as well as the periphery of the curved, incised panel decoration. Fine patina covers both items.
